At Florida Fancy Poodles, we believe that every dog deserves to be in a forever-loving home. Our dogs are cherished members of our family and receive the best care and attention. To ensure our dogs continue to receive this level of care, we have a Guardianship Home Program. A Guardian Home provides a permanent, loving environment for one of our males or females. We are offering this opportunity to families who meet the criteria.

As a guardian, you have the opportunity to welcome one of our top puppies into your home for a small fee. You’ll take the puppy home at 8 weeks, just as its siblings go to their forever homes. Florida Fancy Poodles retains breeding rights (up to 4 litters for females, or 4 years from male maturity for our stud dogs). After their breeding career, we will spay/neuter the dog at our expense and they will remain with you.

Guardians are responsible for all costs related to food, vet care, grooming, and training. The breeder covers all breeding-related expenses. Our guardian dogs must live indoors, and you must either own your home or have permission to keep pets.

Additional requirements include:

• Keeping the dog on a leash at all times and avoiding dog parks.
• Providing regular photos of your pup.
• Feeding them premium food.
• Ensuring any opposite-sex dogs in the home are fixed.
• Allowing the breeder to visit your home as needed.
• Informing us of any plans to move out of the area and arranging for the dog to be returned to us for breeding if necessary.
• Contacting us in case of serious illness or accident.
• Keeping us informed of a female dog’s heat cycles and sharing all vet care details with the breeder. Ensure the vet knows the dog is intended for breeding and maintains flea, tick, and heartworm prevention along with all vaccinations.
